The Smyrna Opera House is the premiere performing arts venue in the area, featuring a dance, theater, and opera. In the past, performances have included the rhythm and blues of Black Cat Bone, to a sell out performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado. The opera house is located in the heart of the city, east of the Glenwood Cemetery.
